The point of my post was not to give credit solely to the PPA; although praise is always welcome
Many poker players, PX and KKG included, took matters into their own hands to get their questions answered. We have had thousands of players contact the PPA since the remission process started and we have dutifully responded to them the best we can, while at the same time sharing issues we could not answer with the DOJ. The PPA has maintained an open line of communication with the top-brass at DOJ AFMLS since the PS settlement. If you recall, we were very active in helping the DOJ understand why 100 percent of account balances should be the basis for remission. There is little question our advocacy work on behalf of the players has been paying off. And, we are especially thankful to the 2+2 posters (and thousands of PPA members who contacted us directly) who have helped us identify problems with the remission process and shape our arguements.
