Frequently you hear people on here recommending you play TPTK (or even TPGK) like it's the nuts at the 1/2 level. If you're one of the TAGFish that recommends that, hmu in this thread.

It's hilarious when they're playing against a good trappy player and mistake them for a fish/calling station (so the TAGFish end up value cutting themselves). They give all their chips to the trappy player when their AK flops an ace and the trappy player flops a set.

Especially on live
if TAGFish hits the TPx and you are better with two pair+, even on flashy/straity board, they give you a lot of their chips when you slow play your cards with nice sizing of 30-35% stack, some check and then overbet river

If you're not value owning yourself from time to time, then you're not value betting thinly enough.

TPTK should almost always go for 3 streets of value. And yeah, sometimes you're going to run into a better hand, but that's poker. You can't be paranoid of monsters under the bed.

Sometimes TPTK could be even c/r on some turns.
