Adam Gray´s bill is not on the agenda for today´s hearing, so the only available date to hear it would be the 23rd August.
However, final amendments to any bill have to be made by 19th August in order to pass this session.
So even if the Senate GO Committee were to hear Adam Gray´s bill on 23rd, it would be too late to do anything about it.

Pretty much. But the state Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) said that he is “not in a rush” to regulate online poker in the Golden State.
So in the unlikely event that the current bill a) passes the full assembly with 2/3's vote and, b) is rushed thru the committee process in the senate, there is virtually zero chance it would come to the senate floor for a vote.
The Assemblyman knows this as well, so there is little incentive for him to push too hard, with both sides still so far apart on suitability, and the tax and fee issues still at hand.
I kinda doubt it actually comes to a floor vote in the Assembly, and if it does, it's just optics.
