Tilts me to my core.

These sites all give out these free tourney promos that you have to do because it's essentially free money but Poker tournaments to me are a lose/lose situation.

Basically if I lose the tournament, I lose and waste my time. If I win the tournament, I'm at my computer for 6 ****ing hours.

I hate that proposal so much. Most of these tickets go right in the garbage, but every once in awhile some site gives me one that's worth like $20+ so I do it.

And every time all it does it pisses me off and I decide I'm not gonna play Poker for 2 weeks.

Kinda defeats the point of the promo. Really tilting to me. Hate tournament Poker with a burning passion inside my soul.

lol, either don't use them, or just shove every hand until you've got a stack that's worth your time or busto

Jeez OP, I would hate to be a family member of yours who buys you birthday or Christmas gifts. That’s what that tournament ticket is - a gift. The site you play on is not required to give you anything for free. If you don’t like your gift, then don’t use it, but getting pisses off over a bad gift seems really over the top.

I think if getting free gifts in the form of MTT tickets gets you this upset poker probably really isn't for you. As I can only imagine how much and badly you'd tilt after having AA or KK cracked.

I typically don't care for them either but I just let them expire and but do use the more expensive ones if/when I get one.

Personally I'd rather they give something over giving nothing. I'm sure many use them even if I don't personally. I'm sure there's other promotions I like that many others might not. Too each their own.
