I know it says tie .14%.. but the only explanation I can think of for this is that they’re giving you chop outs as a win.

I’m pretty sure tie is way too low.

I know this happens on pokerbros when I play 5-6 card the odds seem to be off bc of chop outs.

That’s my best guess.

Yeah something seems wrong here. It may be the ties or I wonder if it may be calculating incorrectly. If it incorrectly allowed you to use three hole cards, then the hand without the three 5s only would win if the runout hit the flush for that hand and did not pir the board. (Plus a few wins with trip boards that make quads). The only ties would be on trip boards that did not give that player quads. That would seem more in line with the 0.14% ties. If programmed correctly any board with no flush possibility and no 5 would be a tie (except for trip boards that make quads). That seems like a lot more than 0.14%.

Edit - I forgot about boards that give either player a wheel or boards that give two pairs when I talked about ties above. Still seems like much more than 0.14% though

Don’t forget ties would also be when no one makes better than two pair.

That was encompassed by what I posted (in a somewhat confusing manner). If evaluated correctly, any board with no flush possibility, no 5, no wheel (234 only; 245 giving the AAQ73 player a wheel already is covered), and no two of Q,7 or 3 will be a tie. Even if there are two out of Q, 7 or 3 it actually still could be a tie. A board like Q7662 for example gives both players AA66Q. This seems like a lot more than 0.14%.

If programmed wrong and it allows three hole cards to play, the only ties are boards with KKK, JJJ, TTT, 999, 888, 666, 444, and 222 in them. Even these may not be ties if one of the remaining cards is a 5. That seems more like 0.14% to me.

Anyone who dont directly see that AAQ73 is a favourite against AA555 must stop playing poker - first hand has three live cards to hit so two pairs / trips, while the second hand only can hit a five for a set or 234 for a straight
