Right now, money.

-as being a player whos had his sn's known, (obviously) how much of your thought in a hand against a random is based on preconceived image? do you think it's benefited you at all have your online persona carry over onto the tables?

It is a factor but i don't think it is a very significant one. I think there are other more dominant factors.

Re: The well, oldjude.

You mentioned somewhere within this thread that you wouldnt be floating a T45ss flop in a 3bet pot with aj/kq etc hands..... so my question to you is 1) Why? and 2) what flops are better to float in 3bet pots?

I don't want this to turn into a strat advice thread so no more strat Q's please.
I'll answer this one, I would not be inclined to float this flop because A: Its a wet low board that i would expect my opponent to c/f quite a bit when he misses, and if he doesn't have a made hand he often has some equity, not to mention the decent possibility that my hand is dominated leaving my reverse implied odds terrible.

Better flops to float are flops where our perceived range will not be giving up on a lot of turns, such as 832r, or obv some flop where we flop some kind of draw/gutshot.

One thing about my game is that i am always(every day) trying out new stuff and taking new lines. So i am capable of pretty much anything.

Re: The well, oldjude.

against good regs, which would you say most describes your MO?

- I try and play as unexploitable as possible as to disguise my hand most of the time and only make moves to take advantage of spots I recognize here and there.

- I try and make each hand as hard as possible for my opponents even if it means playing expolitable myself in hopes that my opponent will make more mistakes than me given the image I've created.

explain.
thanks great stuff so far

I suppose option one is a good description of how i play vs opponents whose tendencies and styles i have not yet gauged. And option two is how i play vs players whos tendencies i have a good read on.

I think you were the only one who called me that . I remember when i thought you were kind of rude and annoying for some posts you made, but i think i misjudged you, i read your blog and admire what you do, keep it up buddy .

Yeah me too, i remember when i started posting here i was greeted with such hostility and d***ishness i was pretty blown away. It was like one of those hick towns where everyone's bitter and they hate the idea of anyone new entering their hate-circle. I can't believe i've gained respect from everyone but the biggest douches . I stuck with it because of the strat. But i think in general recently the attitude of most of the posters is way more friendly and laid back, hopefully i've contributed to it.

Re: The well, oldjude.

When playing a bunch of tables, do you every play look down at a table and see yourself in a pot with total garbage and wonder how the **** you got yourself into this situation?

Do you play "All I Do Is Win" on repeat during your sessions?

I do both of these things and am wondering if the jude does too.

Oldjude,

You said you have a very structured life compared to most other pros. Can you give me an overview of your daily routine + how many hours you sleep, ect.?

Get up at 10-12(this varies), shower, eat, hang around and watch whatevers on(breaking bad s2 right now, it is awesome). Play my first session, then just laze around or do some coaching, hang out in the evenings with whomever's around, play another session, watch tv and asleep by 4ish.

I have had some niggling health issues and one of the things i deal with is chronic fatigue, this makes it difficult to travel and to play 12 hour sessions hence my lack of presence in vegas/live tournies.
