Green tea or normal tea?

I like normal tea and most other teas but to me green tea tastes like hot water with floor sweepings in it.

Your opinion on the French/Italian license issues, and things related?

I honestly haven't been following it but i try not to let things like that get to me, if we paid attention to every skeptic out there we'd never sleep.

What do you personally do well that you think gives you an edge in the games, which is different from other winning regulars?

I suppose i am very flexible in my thought process, when i hear someone giving an opinion followed by some speech about how its the most obviously correct line ever when its clearly a subjective situation, i know that person probably stopped learning some time ago.

How do you analyize your sessions? Straight after play, the day after, or all at once in big blocks of 10,000+ hands, or a combination of the above? Describe.

Just when i feel like it, often for about 1/2 hour a day.

Thanks

YW.

Re: The well, oldjude.

do you find it easier or harder to play in a 6max field with a lot of familiar [reg] faces?

is it ever challenging for you to play solid at 6max soon after playing a lot of HU? vice versa?

why dont you play in the bigger 6max games that run on stars if 2k+ rarely runs on ftp (maybe you do but i dont know ur sn there)?

any general comments on nathan's (1690 AD) heads up play? you played him in your first hu video on leggo i believe, the live commentary one at 4 tables.

thanks for doing this, congrats for all the success you've had

Re: The well, oldjude.

Also, what are your thoughts regarding moving up?

For me, I am currently playing 200NL and withdrawing all my winnings + 55% rb for living and saving while paying off my student loan since I have graduated. Should I try move up quicker?

Also what is your risk tolerance? How many BI's do you like to have for a level before shot taking?

TY again

Re: The well, oldjude.

Nice little thread you got going here!

How often do you out level yourself by assuming the players you play against are better then they actually are? Or is it more common that you underestimate an opponents ability to play?

How quick do you get a feel for how a relative unknown player thinks and reacts to your plays?

Not really.

Good question, i sometimes play on stars, but i just never got used to it.

any general comments on nathan's (1690 AD) heads up play? you played him in your first hu video on leggo i believe, the live commentary one at 4 tables.

He seemed like a good 1/2 reg, didn't 3b enough, or fight for pots post-flop.

thanks for doing this, congrats for all the success you've had

Thank you.

I think it will continue to get tougher and tougher and only the best players will do well and even they will have to run good.

I think i will always win somehow, even if it means moving down or switching games.

I don't know, but i would take the HU action since the 6m will be there after.

I would definitely not withdraw all my winnings if i were you. You have to keep building if you want to move up.

About 30 before i take a shot.

I will go with the latter here.

How quick do you get a feel for how a relative unknown player thinks and reacts to your plays?

I usually make lots of assumptions . Usually a few hundred hands and i'll have a reasonable idea of how they play.

Re: The well, oldjude.

Hey jude, nice to have you on 2p2. keep the good work, thx for the well.

All quiestions are assuming 100bbs pre

1) We 3B pre JJ-KK, flop comes Axx, Kxx (overcard to our pari). What is our actions, why and what should we be thinking about? CB-fold, C/C flop? how to proceed and what to think about on the turn if we get called, or we C/Ced?
Same situaton vs a fish limping, and we ISO him, same board, what is our actions? (how my strat should change if i know fish is aggressive vs passive?, do i bet-fold vs aggro, and check-fold all the way vs passive?)

2) We ccall a 3B on CO/BU from blind regular(standart 24/20, 7% 3B) w AJ/AQ/KQ. Flop is T54ss or rainbow. he cbets standart like 11-14bbs into 22bbs. If we consider making a move, do we float or bluffraise this flop? what board do you generaly bluffraise vs float and with what hands/vs what kind of opponents?

3) Can you elaborate on your thoughts on optimal fold vs 3B % in a default 6max game where lets say all our opps are regs. (I`m mainly playing nl100-200)
I`ve seen from PTR, that most better high stakes regs have 50-60% fold to 3B, where as mine is ~70%, which is pretty expolitable. How can i expand my defending range, some suggestions for playing in 3B pots maybe.

4) Do you think calling 3Bs OOP is optimal? what type of hands do we do that with? i would guess ones that aren`t strong enough to 4B-getint in, but too good to fold vs his range?

5) How should my thouhg process change when dealing vs 3Bs, when i KNOW my opp`s range is a) Polorized as ***k b) depolirzed. Do i 4B bluff more vs polorized, and ccall 3Bs more/wider vs depolorized?

i know thats a lot, but would reaaaly like you to take your time and expand a bit more on every question.

thx

Thoughts on my game/my biggest strengths/weaknesses

Biggest adaptation you found to help you beat 5/10+?

If I wanted to try a new game, what would you recommend, HU or PLO?

This has probably been asked, but biggest 'aha' moment

Re: The well, oldjude.

Also, how many tables do you usually play (on avg)?

I think i definitely can play up to 9 6max talbes, but i don`t wanna "stuck" to one limit, and make "robotic decisions". Would you advocate to play like 4-7 tables while learning/improving the game, maybe till MSNL, and than starting worling on multitabling more?

what nr of tables do you feel is optimal to "not autopilot" and play well? I mean i know it obv depends on each person, but still

Re: The well, oldjude.

-Can you explain your thought process during a hand against tough regs? e.g Are you putting them on a range, thinking there bet there air in this spot etc

What is the best way to improve your thought process?

Ross County best Irish team?!

Yes, we have to assume a lot of things about a player. And if you assume wrong that can snowball into plays that would be terrible if you actually had more info on the player. It also works to our advantage when we are right ofc.
That is something that mind****s me on a regular basis. It's hard to balance.

I can get pretty OCD about knowing everything about a player.
I'm probably spending way more time thinking about that then I should.

What does purple taste like?

Is KQ good hand?

Re: The well, oldjude.

What do you think about coaching? is it worth to get relatively expensie (~200$/h) coaching from a good coach though, for nl100-200 player? or is is not worth it up untill at least nl400-600?

Re: The well, oldjude.

Hello, it's nice to meet you.

A couple of questions from me:

How many tables do you play? What is the highest number that you played?

How many hours a day do you play? Is your life somehow structured; sleeping patterns, playing hours, eating/resting-time, etc.?

How long, on average, do you play your sessions? How many sessions a day?

Would it make a big difference for you if you had to play without HUD?

Do you think you increase your red line (get folds) more by value betting thinly or by bluffing?

TY for the thread!

Do family and friends treat you differently because of your poker success?

What would you be doing with your life right now if you had to quit poker (or never met poker at all)?
