No, i would not recommend trying to put opponents on specific hands. Although in some spots i find i am pretty good at doing this.

Are you planning on learning any games outside of NL as games shift toward PLO and 8 game mixes at the higher stakes?

Re: The well, oldjude.
hey old jude,
say that today you have 90% of your $ online and you lose every single dollar, what do you do tomorrow. How do you think it would effect you, using your worst day(s) as a reference.
let me know if you ever come to vegas or the west coast, we can day this fun game called drink as many irish car bombs in a row as you can... wcgrider is the current record holder with five, but swears he can do 6 no problem... but you are 100% purebred homecountry Irish so you can probably do 10

Ironically, nobody drinks those here. If we did though, we'd just call them "car bombs".......

Not much you can do. In my opinion by far the number one thing anyone can do to better themselves as a poker player(at least this was the case for me) is to log as many hours playing as they can. But then i see some guys breaking even for like 500k-1mil hands and i don't understand how they aren't learning to beat the level they're at(so it is vital that you are being present in mind and not auto-piloting/playing too many tables).
I think it must just be that some peoples brains are not trained to advance or learn even when immersed in the activity in question. There is a possibility that being home-schooled has been a boon for me in this sense, i remember when i was a kid, me and my siblings loved to do math and whatever else we were learning, all my school-going friends hated reading or doing anything that they were forced to do in school. Maybe for some people, being forced to do mundane repetetive excercises had soured them on learning, maybe, i don't know. Also i am not totally hating on the school system, i think it has a lot of positive aspects.
For me though its always been: jump into a game where i'm a dog, figure out why i'm a dog, figure out how my opponents are taking advantage of me, counter this with the most logical course of action, figure out who is adjusting to my adjustments, readjust to their adjustments, continue this process.
Sorry that all might seem obvious but thats what i do. Hope that answered your question to some degree.

Cool question. I would either grind out 1/2-2/4 until i had all the cheese back, or i would borrow $25k and get straight into 5/10(i actually would be pretty comfortable doing this, i've borrowed money to play when i've been flat broke before). Or maybe a staking dealio. Either way, i'd get the benjamins back .

Sure thing, i will be out to Vegas within the next couple of months

Gross. We wouldn't defile our guinness like that over here.
