Topset deepish, I want an excuse to call river.

Villain is 22/19/2.4 9.4%3b 4.7k hands
he has 15% 3b in sb vs steal.
32% wtsd, 44% wwsf, 44% wsd
He is very very spewy preflop. A little more stationy bu still aggro postflop.
Hero is textbook 20/17 but tightened up a bit because of the 2 3bet monkeys at the table. (Other guy some sort of aggro 35/24 regfish)

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $4(BB) Replayer
SB ($1,223)
BB ($483)
Hero ($692)

Dealt to Hero T T

Hero raises to $10, SB calls $8, fold

FLOP ($24) 6 T 3

SB checks, Hero bets $17, SB raises to $54, Hero calls $37

TURN ($132) 6 T 3 7

SB bets $104, Hero raises to $262, SB calls $158

RIVER ($656) 6 T 3 7 2

SB bets $656, Hero ?

.... 366$ left

I kinda butchered the hand, I think, awkward betsizing and such.

Now, sweeet odds, but I'm not gonna be good here much huh?

Re: Topset deepish, I want an excuse to call river.

Yeah I thought about that, but prefered to wait for a safe turn to get it in, so I would have some more equity when the money goes in, + a flop 3bet could stop him from spewing with random stuff.
If the turn completed fd I could just call and draw to fh. I didnt rly expected him to call my turn raise, which messed up my plan.

3-bet stops him from spewing with random stuff but all of his low fd's have a gutshot and he probably will want high fd's in anyways so 3-bet. Don't be greedy about the safe turns + there are no safe turns as he is probably semi-bluffing this a lot (78,89) instead of bluffing. Oh yeah, stack here a lot with overpairs, TPGK as well.

Sigh, I guess it's a fold river :/

Re: Topset deepish, I want an excuse to call river.

NOt sure if I like 3b the flop. You make a ton of worse hands fold here he could just have random 2 over cards QJ, KJ kind of hand with a big diamond in it. But it also makes sense cause he will call with big draws possibly shove them along with sets. I think it depends a lot on the opponent to 3b that flop. I think its close If we reraise the flop he just gonna fold out marginal draws. We want him to turn a top pair if hes overs and if he has a set hes losing lot of money anyways. EVen a baby flush draw here might fold to reraise thinking he might be going after reverse implied odds.

I like waiting to the turn to define his range better and also hide our hand strength ( I like being tricky icky wicky). Now when he gets 108/132 he seems pretty strong. Thats big bet. I know this sounds bad but I would jam the turn. Hes not going to fold a set. And a lot of rivers is going to kill the action any 4589 diamond is a disaster. He could have 2 pair, he could have worse set or some weird draw and he can also bluff a lot of cards. I would shove the turn. I know your little deep for that but that board is getting to ugly for me.

River I think is fold. I would fold here. I would put him on a flush. We are showing a lot of aggression on the turn so I think on this river he will play pretty cut and dry a lot of the times.

Actually I think i agree with this analysis. This looks spot on to me. We do fold out his weak semi bluffs but I think in general if hes drawing hes gonna gamble i forgot the fact your stacks are deeper ( even though its in the title =)). So I change my mind I like the 3b on the flop. then hes in a tough spot on the turn when you bet the turn he either has to shove or fold. I think if the stackers were shorter I would call and see turn then I could play the turns easier and the stacks would be less awkward, but with a deeper stack hes gonna gamble more and call little lighter to try bust you then if it was like 100 bb stack.
