it was working fine when it was a casual pursuit. we don't have to 100% eliminate 20bb tables to make this work. the little ****s need to have a few tables to hop around when they double up and just cutting the number of available ones for them can still make shortdonking unprofitable even if not impossible.

i've noticed a ton more of them at ftp 2/4 the last few weeks and i'd be surprised if this effort and that trend are unrelated.

i agree with this. of course i will only play 50bb tables for this week, but things have been going amazingly well at 5/10 and 10/20 anyway.

everyone just needs to remain consistent when starting 50bb tables. i notice whenever i start my session and there aren't too many 50bb games going, me and a couple other regs like 20buck, oooooh, prokker and a couple others always get it to a point to where it's at least 75% 50bb tables. there have been days where i get on and there are like 3 20bb 10/20 tables going and 1 50bb. by the time i and my session i have it to the point where there are 8-10 10/20 games going, all of which are 50bb.

we all need to remain consistent even after this boycott is over. if we all take it upon ourselves to always try and get these games going, ratholers will eventually die out.

also, take a look at 2/4 right now. most of the 20bb tables are fast. some people really just hate to play on tables if they are slow. let's all make an effort to get stars to bring in 50bb fast table by posting in the software improvement thread. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...=119016&page=9

Id love to help with this, and anyone who plays 2/4 and 3/6 can vouch for the fact that when I start a table its always 50bb, but this is a terrible week. Im in vegas, my parents are in town, as well as one of my wife's friends. Im looking at like 1-2 hour windows for sessions at weird times and if there are open seats at 20bb min tables I have to take them or not get any hands in. Im obv sitting at 50bb min tables first and starting them when there are no open tables, but this just isnt practical for me at all until monday when my parents split.

theres only one thing i hate more that shortstacking ratholes.and thats full tilt and stars multi tabling nits. u rats play 12 tables and devour the fish. u ****s dont play poker u wait for top 10 hands , wow what skill. fu all

Having a ton of nits on the tables causes games to get tougher by both busting fish faster and filling the tables with better players on average.

Personally I think it would be in the long term best interest of poker to limit the number of tables people can play.

It's not the nits who make the games tougher. I agree that extreme multitabling can be bad for the games, but not because of the nits. Because of the good multitablers.

I would say it's working quite well. You don't need to eliminate all non-50BB tables. You just need to make it so that there isn't enough for these shortstackers to continually rat hole at.

not working that well at 5/10 right now. I sat at 5 or 6 5/10 tables and no one joined for about an hour. 10/20 was good though, smittyuf and pistons each helped start a bunch of tables.

Guys, if we want this to happen, people have to be willing to play short handed against regs. It really doesn't last very long, cause as soon as the tables get to 2 or 3, they fill up really fast. COME ON!
