we started the hand <100bb; checking turn seems disastrous

Preflop and flop look good to me (depends on your position though: if you're UTG then fold pre, but if you're HJ or CO then standard open).

Turn I definitely prefer a bet here. You're the only one that has all the AQ/AK in your range, so the onus is on you to triple barrel this. The best hand that they can have is something like AJ, which will often check back the turn for pot control. So you need to bet for value. And if they happen to have 2pr then you're stacking them anyway, so more reason to bet.

River is a snap call. We dominate some value hands like 54s and 64s, but our hand is too weak to 3bet the river. I'd jam river with A4 or better here though.

Yeah this just sucks but you cant fold. If the player is loose they might be getting out of line with a 4 thinking that you checked back and ace on the turn and decided to try to get value on the river.

But speaking of that, why are we ever checking the turn?

easiest call ever.

Missing turn bet is lolbad

The big blind can have 45o and 46o in his range, k4s and q4s and goes for clickbsck thinking your range is capped going for dirty value

Tempted to rip but need more info

Why are we checking turn?

As played river is a snap call, especially for a click back. He can easily have a 4x hand like 45s, 46s etc, be value betting AK now that you severely under-repped your hand with the check on the turn.
