Overbet line check/advice

Hey guys, Iíve been trying to work in overbets on the turn when I have a range advantage and wanted to get your feedback on a hand and any tips on pre river over betting in general as Iím finding some difficulty with incorporating

$2/$5 online home game, very passive, lot of limp-calling but V1 is one of the more competent players and donít expect him to show up with trash much

Hero ~$1k (Kh Qc)

Villain ~$2800

UTG+2 limp $5

LJ limp

HJ Hero raise to $30

CO Villain call

BB/LJ call

Flop ($127.5)

7c 7d Kc

BB/LJ check

HJ Hero bet $51

Villain call

BB/LJ fold

Turn ($229.50)

7c 7d Kc (3s)

Hero bet $300

Villain call

River ($829.50)

7c 7d Kc (3s) (6c)

Hero bet $620 and all in

Overbet line check/advice

flop iím betting smaller, turn+river seems like a disaster.

overall Iím not sure turn is even an overbet spot, V could call pre with lots of 7x which call, and fold a lot of flush draws to your bomb.

this does make you tough to play against but I just donít see us ever getting called by worse in a home game.

consider also we lose the EV of a more standard line like 30% pot flop bet, 60% turn bet which keeps V range wider

I don't like turn or river.

I either bet 2/3's or c/c depending how you think he would react to a check.

this. Villain has lots more 7x than you. This is not a good spot to overbet. You often narrow villains range down to 7x and you block Kx.

Good overbet spots are when you have lots of strong hands that villain cant have. Your range advantage on this board with AA, KK AK is negated by the fact that he has lots more 7x than you. So dont overbet.

Don't overbet on paired boards either, villain can mainly call with trips. Paired boards are bad because when you have trips he's way less likely to have trips. And when you're bluffing hes way more likely to have trips.

Overbet on boards like QJ2r where you're PFR. Villain cant have many strong hands except 22 QJ as QQ JJ often 3b pre eetc. So this is where you have huge range advantage. Also board isn't paired.

Overbet on turns and rivs that is a Q, K, or A. Scary cards that villain often can't have but you can.

A lot of this is right except for the qj2 thing where you’re supposed to almost always use the 1/3 size.
You overbet flop in spots like when u are btn v bb and flop is ak2 in a srp this is a hand where pio uses the 105% with a lot of the betting range.
But you can’t just decide to arbitrarily start trying to use this strategy when you have no idea what you are doing. This kind of advice is useless itt
If you are already playing for this much $ you should be doing some work off the table just an hour or two a week with one of the bazillion tools there are out there in 2020

Agree that this is really really bad. What are you trying to accomplish, are you bluffing? Given your read on villain, why are you playing the hand this way?
