I have added the 100 to dukes total from the Patriots fiasco but I would like a ruling . One where both sides can be heard instead of him saying there's action 10 minutes before the game started

While we understand what you wanted you have to look big picture, if we start to try police and guess what people type is what they really want it becomes a nightmare. While you dont change sides, there are several that do just to have a sweat...bacon, Jaba will book both sides to get a banked swap. But we can not rule that just cause you had it in a prior post that you didn't mean to switch sides. I will say if someone realizes it prior to kickoff and there hasn't been any big line movement or injury news, I don't see any reason not to let anyone out of a bet. Especially for 100. But I think the rule is what you type is what you want and can be booked

Well he talked about me waiting 5 hours to no action he waited 5 more actions to deny that and only reason I waited so long was because I was sleeping .

If he had told me earlier it wouldn't have been a problem because I could have grabbed more action on the Texans . Plus he could have easily cancelled and booked with someone else

I agree the right thing would have been to cancel not questioning that, but most times we wouldn't have more than 5 to 10 mins to confirm on deny the bet. This was special as most bets are not open for 12+ hrs but yes imo opinion the right thing would have been to cancel on his part, at the same time you could have said bet is on and booked 200 more on texans to get your 100 action that you wanted and left it out of his hands as well

I didnt see your 2 posts where you wanted texans. I only saw the last one that said patriots.

I woke up less than an hour before kickoff, i saw you requested to cancel but i still wanted the action so i kept it.

I have had the same experience many times wesrwood where I book the wrong team or wrong amount (forget to put amount so book 500 or 1k or whatever when I meant 200). It's painful but like ryhen said we can't be trying to intuit someone's intent and the rules are mostly there to prevent angling or I think in the vast majority the appearance of angling as I don't think really any of us are purposefully angling someone.

Bottom line is what gets posted supersedes intent.

Yes duke could have let you out but he certainly isn't obligated to. In someways you also prevented him from booking what he wanted for a big chunk of time also if we just let you cancel the bet.

Others may have different takes but that's mine.
