Me and ster ran into a situation where my game got rained out and we had a pending swapped game (that was easily identifiable as such.)

Do we have a thread policy on mlb rainouts and swaps, and if so, what is it.

If not, should we create one?

I would say swap stays and he essentially gets a swap in return now. That way you still get the action you wanted on the game you valued cause you took it as a swap, and he can pick the game of his choice but should be of similar value in terms of vig as his original rained out bet.

if it can be caught before first pitch, obv ideal situation is to cancel both

if not, imo you should get a game in return as you didnt want action on his, it was a swap offer

kinda sucks, but i think that is the fairest way to go about it

Both work but obv if it was a swapped game getting action on it was more difficult and most likely everyone wanted that side, so I would hate to see you lose your chi/laa over bet because of rain out when most likely you would have swapped it for another game today anyways. But obv it is void if the guy who was swapping post before first pitch like you did, the bigger issue I would see if driver came in and posted no bet and you didnt see it and came back to find out your 5 star play of night was voided and you ended up with no action on it.
