wtf dude i have been advocating change of HU table structure for a very long time in this thread and cried against bumhunters for more than you even existed in this thread. Are u ****ing dumb or something. I just think fulltit solution is neat. 1table per limit , no more clustering with bumhunters with no action.

Hey,

It has been brought to my attention via PM that someone who was testing the new software posted the download links on some forum.

I have checked with 888 and it seems it is cool for me to link it here and you guys to check it out.

You should be aware that this is an alpha version and you are using it at your own risk. Having said that it's the exact same version I have been running and I have noticed no problems.

To run first install the .exe and then execute the regedit from the zip file (this simply allows for compatibility with the servers, which are still running 5.8).

http://www.pacificpoker.com/en_new/P6/888pokersetup.exe
http://uk.888.com/conf/5.8Compatible.zip

The full release should be in around two weeks. I'm not sure exactly how much can be changed before then, but it's almost certain that minor details can. Feedback as always is more than welcome.

Thanks.

Secondly, some news about the min buyin and HU structure.

- The minimum buyin at NL games is changing to 35bb as of tomorrow. This is at all games from $0.25/$0.50 and above if I remember correctly.

- There will be a new HU policy in place in a later version of the software, but not this one. It will probably be in approximately two months time. Like Yuv said, it will consist of a limited number of 'must-play' tables; the exact details will follow at a later date. I appreciate that this is a long time to wait however in the new software HU tables are hidden as a default, which makes the lobby look MUCH better and should enable the casual players to see the 6max games clearly and jump in easier. Thanks for your patience.

consensus is that HU tables is visually unappealing to recreational players

Because there are people enjoying playing more than 1 table.
And timebank is great idea, because 30 secs are not enough for headsup and plo when you play 2-3 hu tables or 6 plo.

Timebank in cash games can only further hurt the fish traffic. They mostly 1-table and don't need anymore time. With timebank, fish playing experience will get only worse.

If your brain is too slow for 12-tabling then decrease the number of tables, easy. 8-tabling w/o timebank probably gives similar number of hands per hour as 12-tabling w/ timebank.

a timebank should be nice, i dont get why you guys dont want that...just do like PS, you have X sec if you click a button, and if you dont hit the button the time bank dont get activated
everytime you use the timebank, you get less time the next time you use it

A max 2 active hu tables at each stakes would be ok or str8 out 2 max per stake

i find it slightly ironic that all the **** changes you guys are gonna make are actually going to drive out regs aka the people that rake for you day in day out yr in yr out... hiding hu tables is just ****ing plain dumb.
+
there is no need for a time bank, casual players will hate the slowness of the action ... if a reg can't think quick enough scale down the tables. If you look at pages and pages of requests no one said time bank really.

does anyone know whatever happened to that 888 + harrahs deal that was made? did that fizzle out , i thought a wsop type skin was suppose to hit the shores of 888 ... Got me excited for this site, now it just like its going to ****.
