What the hell is going on with the cashier?

Today I played a session and finished it with xxxxx.xx Ł in my cashier.

I just logged in again and now I have ~Ł1700 less in my account.

I haven't played a single hand nor made any transactions between logging off earlier today and logging in again 5 minutes ago...

... So is 888 robbing its customers now?!?

Important account update

Due to an unforeseen error, some re-buys on cash game tables made between 22/4/10-28/4/10 were not deducted from your bankroll.

In order to rectify this issue, LuckyAcePoker.com will deduct $331.53 from your bankroll on Thursday, 29/4/10, to account for this discrepancy.

There's no way in hell that their figures are right.
I'm 100% sure that I would have noticed it earlier if Ł1.700 / $2.600 were not deducted from my bankroll...

They haven't even sent me e-mail or anything, just stole from my account without a word. Unbelievable.

I thought I already had seen all the tricks that 888 has but no.

Jesus christ.

Yuv, make this right , now.

Whoever makes the decisions there is a complete moron and ****ed this up big time. If you re gonna deduct money from us its probably a good idea to apologize and warn us first..then deduct the money. They just rob us and then send an email letting us know about it 5h later. Ridiculous.

****** christ.. they stole $1007 from me as well...

I am pretty sure it's due to their moronic Error while rebuying message.. I bet they decided to deduct the money we were UNABLE to put in the play with the reloads but are being charged for it anyway!

someone just openly stole our money

2500 they took from me. I think this 100% their fault they should prove with exact hands etc. Also i dont think this number is correct

cause its theirs fault i want compensation in anyway.
Probably bonus with standard rules for the equivalent amount its a fair deal.

Yeah
Firstly - 888 must get the numbers correct. Secondly - some kind of compensation is in place here.
I mean, why should customers be fully responsible for their incompetency?

I'd also like them to send me a history of said 'undeducted re-buys" so I can verify it.

They deduct 491.6 GBP from my bankroll. I thought it's too much.

They were propably supposed to deduct 491.6 USD from you. Looks like they don't realize that $ doesn't equal Ł. Not that I'm surprised of it, but yeah, they're really that dumb.

This is what happened to me:
First they took Ł1700 (~$2600) from me. Then some nice lady called me from Littlewoods (Funny sidestory is that she asked me for the first two letters of my password as a part of their security measure!!!!)
Anyway, she apologized for the hassle and I told her that the amount they took from me can't be right and told her that I suspect that they took the same amount of Ł from me that they were supposed to take in $. She didn't confirm it but promised to take it to her bosses.
So, looks like I was right since after a while I got an email and some Ł back and now it looks like that in the end they took ~1700$ fom me.

Still want to get that history of those said "undeducted re-buys" though...

...and some compenastion

Hey all,

I've waited with this post for a couple of hours because I made sure everyone double-triple-quadruple check that every number deducted were correct.

We had a bug in the system for the past week that caused players to re-buy without having their money actually taken from their bankroll.
After identifying the problem, we ran multiple tests to find exactly the people who were affected (unknowingly) and restored the situation.

Again, we made sure everyone checks again and again to be positive that the right amounts are deducted.

I understand the frustration regarding communications and I'll make sure your views reach the relevant people.

I really wish this didn't happen, but there was really no other choice

Yuv,

Its extremely frustrating when you are rebuilding your bankroll and get to a certain point..then have them take a chunk of it back. Its like you climbed a mountain and they kick you back down.
