just saw i had the "emerald" status, and im wondering if anyone gave up the 25% official rb deal at pacific for the new reward program?

I did. Yuv sorted it out for me. Only worth your while if you've accumulated enough points since January to get automatically put in 'vip' tier for 27% RB.

The main advantage I think is instantly cashable RB, rather than monthly. As well as extra 2% and 10k monthly freeroll with a decent bit of value.

Only disadvantage i could think of was that you lose vip status after a year if you don't maintain level of play on site.

I did, unknowingly. I had a rb deal with RakeTheRake, a very realiable rb affiliate in my experience. I noticed my June payment didnt seem to get through, but had also cashed the various points awards, or whatever they're called, and noticed they more or less were the same as the previous 25% rb deal.

So I wrote RTR and they told me about this new situation. I then checked Ian noticed I was "emerald", due to my previous deals with 888, or however it was formulated.

So it doens't actually make much difference to me (except for the day-by-day cashing if you care to, really. I just dislike stiffing the affiliate that has doone me a good service, but I guess they're still on good terms with 888, judging from their page.

Yuv, is it worth my while waiting for the store to bring substantial stuff at discount prices within the next 3 months or so??

We were and we are now exactly in the same situation. Im not sure if i should give up on emerald for the new reward system, what are you going to do about it?

BTW, in june and july i had 2 bonus to clear since i played those old 100k gtd for a while, do you know if there is a way to get another bonus for june? it seems they gave them up when you do tournaments, but im not so sure now since they stoped doing the 100k gtd

If I read it correctly, you need to get to VIP status to be better off than Emerald: you get 2 Status Point per dollar of Contributed Rake, which means Emerald has a 12.5 multiplier, which is just slightly worse than VIP.

Nothing new, is allready that way a long time...

maybe you can trick other HEM users with using all sorts of caps, non-caps combinations so they dont got history with you

I like it a lot. Its annoying to see some guys multiple times in the database because they constantly log in with different aliases. To find out how many k im down against each of them would be much easier if this was fixed. 6 votes may not be enough to make this top priority for the hem guys though.

What do the top 6 play? I've never heard of any of them except dooshcom whom i presume plays mostly limit?

Usually i keep an eye on the limit tables, and i havent seen Dooshcom for weeks. There must be some secret back room where all those unknown leaders of the vip race play.
