So the 5/10 and 10/20 HU tables seem to be uncapped now, and the worst bumhunters on the site are all siting with 4 tables each at BOTH limits, instead of being forced to contend for one of the 10 available tables at each limit.

Of the 40-50 occupied tables there isn't a single HU match going :P

Hey guys, I got a beta version for you to test if you'd like.

Here is the info (or just a link to the extremely lazy ones)

The biggest issue for you guys is the new table pop-up logic. I think it is MUCH easier to play cascade on this version.

Off the the PR (I don't really have the energy to re-write this in "2p2ish" )

This new version includes some features that are client-only changes while others require additional changes non-client components (servers). Since we did not deploy all of the servers, some of the features are not fully functional just yet, however, the client features on the other hand, are fully functional (as described below):

Multi tabling features:

1. New multi-table pop-up logic: Tables will pop-up, one by one, only after the player made a decision/move in the active table.

2. Stop table animation in multi tabling: We disabled the table animation (chips and cards) when playing six or more tables. If you play less than 6 tables the animation will appear unless disabled in the Settings.

3. Slider behavior: The increments of moving the slider will be in BB’s and not in cents. Players will still be able to bet/raise any non-rounded amounts using the betting box (and ENTER).

4. Changes to the “look & feel” of the action buttons (Fold/Check/bet)

In addition you will see buttons/menu items that are not available in this BETA version:

1. There will be NO ACCESS to the Rewards Plan

2. “Open Identical” feature on the table and in the tournament lobby will not be working for now


There are many more minor changes in this version, that are not written in this mail.

Please play with this version for a day or two (if possible on more than one table to test the new multi table features) and then download again the official version from www.pacificpoker.com

I experienced a new style of crash today : The double freeze one.

When you play your big hand and it comes to the river, the soft crash. You try do as quick as possible to relaunch LuckyAce and try to shove on the villain but when you get connected the soft recrashes in order to shut you out ( obv villain shoved his bluf on you when you had the nuts ).

Yuv is there a beta version for luckyace too ?
I am not sure 2p2er are playing cascade, most part have a big wide screen and try not to overlap windows and follow the action on their 6tables or whatever. Maybe im wrong.

anyone else having problems logging in now?

1st is standard and I always have to quit when that happens due to insta-tilt

I'm using pacific handgrabber for pacific with HEM.

But this doesn't work for omaha. I get the stats but when I want to review my hands I can only see 2 out of 4 cards. Does another handgrabber work better for omaha on pacific?

I'm not experiencing any crashes it's just that it doesn't show the entire hand after reviewing it. So if I miss a hand somewhere I can never see what went down.

Pokersitescout shows a solid increase of traffic since the new rewards program. Although a lot of the traffic are nits.

Best news of all, I haven't had a crash in over a week! That's the only reason why I haven't tried your recent beta Yuv. Too scared that if I install it, crashes will return.

How do you get the HEM HUD working correctly with the client saved hand histories and hand grabber disabled?

I have just installed the 1.08.04 HEM, selected to import only the hand histories saved by the poker client, and tried to play a few hands. The problem is that the HUD stats appear in wrong places. I tried to experiment with the preferred seating HUD options but no success.

I'm using the classic view with a black mod. Should I use avatar/clear view and choose a first person view?

I was hoping finally to get rid of the hand grabber as it would kill my hard disk with the thousands of files written every session.
