IMO that is completely ******ed.

You arent addressing the #1 problem on Pacific ... RATHOLE ABUSING SHORTSTACKS.

They need to:

#1 actually enforce rathole time limits / eliminate "bugs" that allow it
#2 increase rathole time limits
#3 increase the minimum buyin to at least 20BB

#4 is probably crashes

All that other **** is very minor in comparison to the first 3 / 4.

You dont play high stakes, you dont play shorthanded, and thus you obv have no idea dude.

Play 25-50 or 50-100 and youll see how ******ed it is. Even 10-20 can be terrible.

Ratholers is #1 tilt inducer. I'd say 30bb should be minimum, atleast for HU.

i would just like to say that nobody should play on pacific, the software is awful and the games have tons of regulars. i would find a better site to join for all of those looking.

It seems like 888 doesnt care about their customers anymore, considering the latest update
on Pacific Poker' & LuckyAce Poker' software. I think it's safe to say that we're alot of
regulars from 100NL up to 20000NL, who are pretty much fed up with the malfunctions and errors,
that we consistently have. So in order to recieve a new and improved software, we have decided
to make a petition, that we'd like everyone who agrees to sign - so we stand a chance.



So basically, if you can nod your head to some of these situations, sign up;


- Client crashing suddently.

- Tables closing down suddently, without further notice.

- Lag issues in Vista, after 1-3 hours.

- Software doesnt support x64 operating systems. (Meaning you can't uninstall, and reinstall if needed)

- Old software had "players on flop%" stats on lobby, it is removed in the new software, we want it back.

- On 30" monitor with resolution 2560x1600 the table appears too big vertically... Some kind of black line
appears in the bottom of the poker table.

- 10-20k guaranteed Tournaments are not starting very often now. There just comes a message that you got the
signup money back, and thats it. Seems like these are not "guaranteed" tournaments after all.

Neither, it seems, do the majority of people posting in this thread. It's seemingly mostly small/midstakes regs, (which most of their rake comes from) and for them, crashes and (the now not so frequent) disconnects are easily the most important issue here, imo. Edit - that's not to say I don't understand your frustration..

Also, someone wrote Mrk1960 makes a living playing... really?


Also one question. I just got a new laptop and downloaded Pacific/Luckyace and in both clients the settings button is greyed out.. any ideas? Would appreciate any help. Ty guys. Edit 2 - It is on Vista if that matters at all.

I get regularly busted from the rathole**** and i have not been at the table at all!!
So i dont like the increase of time limit!
