Is there any sense to a system where rather than resolving discrepancies, you just always use the lower balance, and then those two parties can fix/account for that discrepancy in the following weeks tabs.

Essentially system like this.

1) people submit tabs
2) discrepancies are listed
3) swap bot runs with lower balance for any discrepancies
4) people resolve their discrepancies from 2) and use any difference from the lower balance in their tabs the following week.
5) repeat

Have a hard time seeing how to angle that. And people who either don't submit tabs or have regular discrepancies will likely lose action.

I'll PM you why this is a bad idea.

Gaffon's number is right with me. I should be +200. I Googled "Sevilla Athletic Bilbao" and got the result for Sunday's match which Sevilla lost when the one I actually bet on was Thursday's match which they won.
