Can any long standing thread members clarify if there’s a rule in place (and if not vote on it) regarding me and Steve’s dispute- so that mine and Steve’s number can be cemented and a balance settled. I’m all for going through the hoops of arbitration and thread voting/rule making/whatever, but I’d just like it to be decided so I don’t have a roughly $800 balance waiting to be settled until something is decided..

Again I am fine with: someone showing a previously understood rule, a vote from 3-5 thread regulars, or simply agreeing to split the $200 bet and grading it for $100 only. @stevesax that offer is still open. Not trying to clog the thread again, and both our sides have already been argued for in thread- but can a few of you just start a group text and figure it out, or Steve text/PM me personally if you just want to settle it. Should still be a rule imo.

Regardless of how you two settle it. If the rule is it’s action unless original poster closes or catches before tip and says “no action got booked with so and so”, this is also easily angleable. Rule should either be always action unless closed or always no action.

Sorry man i know how you feel. For me betting is only fun when im winning. If you dont use 2p2 for anything else, 2 week self-ban might save you some $ if you cant help yourself. I did it last month because i was down 5 figs and having late night dreams about you people

Only logical reason he has been so busy, Bron is working on a book "how to ruin a good betting reputation in a week or two"

He just continues to stall and drag things out, this was a bet where Aces booked it and while booking bron added will swap, and then aces added a swap. While I can see why he thinks aces took advantage which he did he also saw it happen and never said anything until the tennis ML issue which I think most except 2 members all said it was a ****ty grimy move by bron but the bet still should still stand. And since then most have been clearer with posting their swap proposals.

Yea I didnt know the outcome but am I correct in that is the one he is referencing to slow things down? Guessing maybe the original bet not the swap he would try to cancel as well. Who knows lost a lot of respect for him over the last month.

The sequence of posts was:
* Bron posts for a halftime bet 100-800

Then, in this order all in the same minute:
* Someone books the bet for 200
* Aces books the bet for 800 with a swap
* Bron posts he's willing to do the bet for 100-1000 and will take swaps

Then (I think) a minute later
* Bron posts he's closed

Going off memory, I was told it went like this:

Bron posts bet offer
Aces books bet
Bron posts saying he will give swaps
Aces edits his post and adds a swap

Listen, it happened so long ago I don’t think it should effect the balance.

OK I just checked the email. The swaps went 1-1, and aces lost juice. The original bet was an overbook by 200. So it concerns less than 200. I wouldn’t worry about it at this point.
