I really don't want to put the internet detective and blackmail super team together again so hopefully he reappears shortly.

I suspected something was up 2 weeks ago when he booked my whole list twice for $500 each. Up until then, he had been quite selective and conservative with who he wanted to bet on and how much he wanted to bet. He was also mostly betting favorites/good teams, but he snap-booked a bunch of underdogs and ****ty teams against me for an amount he doesn't usually bet. It was so out of the ordinary for him, and coupled with his past childish behavior, I really smelled something ****ty. I said nothing even though I felt I was getting freerolled. Looking back, I wish I had listened to my gut. Judging by his actions and the way he acts in thread, I didn't at all put it past him to crush the thread for $4-5k and then stiff when he lost it all back.

Of course that is easy for me to say when I bet 100-200 99% of the time and only very rarely 300-400. I have just been surprised and slightly dismayed at the number of 1k+ bets lately. From someone like Post Oak it is fine, from some of the newer accounts I personally don't really think its fine unless they are up significantly in thread for that week, escrowed or vouched for by someone like bacon.
Going to reserve judgement on the Wes situation until we see what happens, it's possible he self-banned just so he wouldn't bet anymore last week. I definitely think getting in touch with a mod to find out the duration is important.
I think its up to him to let us know what's going on before he chooses to PM a moderator about self-banning. He absolutely must have known how it would be perceived by us.
His action is no longer good with me regardless of what excuse he comes back in here with (if he does). If you need to self-ban yourself from Twoplustwo just to prevent yourself from betting, it is very obvious to any reasonable person that you should settle up and tell the thread your intentions before you self-ban.
Furthermore, I think we need to review how wesrwood even got into this thread. When he first arrived, I vaguely remember bronbron having objections but everyone else saying that he's cool. Did he ever escrow? Is that why we ignored bronbron? Was he ever vouched for? Was he ever on some probationary period?
GL to anyone he owes
