I would imagine sqz pre is preferred, and probably raising flop too. AP I'm just calling and calling most river cards to a reasonable sized bet.

The reason I didn't was because UTG is unknown and I don't want to bloat the pot even with JJ against a possible tight range (if unknown is a fish, I can get value post flop anyway with skill & position advantage).

Do I really have a raising range here esp against a nit who bets closer to pot?

MP does look nitty but I don't think we want to play JJ 3way (or likely more with inviting blinds in) like this when squeezing is so immediately profitable. MP's flat range is still mostly hands we dominate like 77-JJ and overcards which can flop very well against us. Squeezing puts them in a difficult spot OOP.

Possibly from a theory perspective we shouldn't have a raising range OTF as we should really be squeeze or folding most or all of the draws and good bluff candidates that we could flop. I'm not sure if a 4% 3b will 3b QQ vs an UTG open, but I think they usually are. So we have the nuts on a drawy board and V has bet near pot into us. Why wouldn't we raise? There are also a lot of bad turns for us which are good for V's range or limit the value we can get from them.

My population read is that player pool esp a nit just flats QQ/AK vs an early position opener unless it's a fish opener.

I 3bet pre. I also raise otf as there's tons that can call and your set is vulnerable on this board. As played call the turn bet. This is one of the worst turn cards.

defo 3B pre. Equity denial is massive and at 2NL the cold callers will flat with all sorts vs your 3B. Not sure about ppl only flatting QQ+/AK at 2NL either.
