Shouldn't be an Aus issue I have students who play from there. Corrupted file perhaps - have you tried a re-install?

This happened to me once randomly, still have no idea how. Just go to settings - table settings - display bet amounts

If you press CTRL+B (commonly used hotkey in word/google docs/etc) it removes bet amounts. I think just pressing CTRL+B again should fix it, or doing it manually in settings.

I dont get why they even offer the option to hide the bet amounts. Does someone enjoy counting the "chips" or wat

so its official, just received an email from ftp.. gg

"We're contacting you to let you know that from April the Full Tilt brand will run on the PokerStars platform. As well as giving you access to extra liquidity, bigger promotions and increased prize pools, the upgrade will also mean changes to our Rewards scheme."

Bad move by FTP.

How will this work out in terms of the table limits that FTP imposes?

there's not much difference when it comes to average skill level at midstakes at least. Main difference is obvsly the size of the playerpool and random appearances of hs crushers at zoom. Few of the best regs at zoom are better than top rush regs, but the worst rush regs are better than the worst zoom regs.Fwiw my wr at both games is similiar.

Q: What will happen after the upgrade?
A: Once we make the change, when you log in you'll be prompted to update your software and account. With your new account, you'll have access to the Full Tilt, PokerStars, BetStars and StarsDraft brands, as applicable in your jurisdiction, via one great platform.
So this means FTP will just be a skin?

I don't play any rush, but 200 ring on FTP is softer than 50 ring on stars. and 500 isn't close to 400. Looking forward to dadonus playing 400 with katallo and ttesone.

in my experience the "stars is tougher" thing is mostly a myth. Although historically 400rush has always been softer than 500z, and I'd imagine 200rush/200z same thing applies

can someone explain exactly what is going to happen here? merging player pools and liquidity and converting to stars vip system and keeping ftp avatars yet they merging sites?

not exactly sure how this is going to work, are they going to synchronize every single buy-in amount?

How do you know that 500 isn't close to 400 if you don't play any rush?

I assume you think that dadonus is bad. I don't want to comment on his game, but if he is bad by your standards, you should have decent success battling many of those stars regs. Sure, some of them are really tough, but these are the minority imo. Of course, when it comes to judging players, it's all relative. It depends on how good you are yourself. I have okayish results at both rush/zoom and I'd say that the difference is small.

I don't see any reason there should be much difference in skill between 400rush and 500zoom on regs level. But line-ups were definitely softer on ftp.
I mean, this is a screenshot of 400rush pool I took a year ago:

me, 9 recs and a shortstacker? something like that never happened in history of zoom NL50+ games on stars.

rip FTP.

I believe some of them are regs. Anyway, I agree with your point. Regs:recs ratio used to be much better at rush. Not the case anymore though

rush 400 skill level is more comparable to zoom 200 than 500 imo

also if you look at win rates for zoom 500 on russian PTR over the last few years then look at some of the published winrates of decent'ish/not great rush 400 players you'll see a pretty big gap

ie. very very few zoom 500 players with >3bb winrate but quite a few rush regs hit that and more
