What are the sort of ideas for a fairer Blackcard Competition?

oh boy, can you please check if you get freezes as well when you register / bust at jackpot sngs?
I have the same login freeze@full tilt and while rush is running alright SNGs/MTTs are painful. Already escalated this to the support so will hopefully have a solution soon...


PS: Do you use a security token by chance?

Short term - mostly tweaking what we have to work with, as far as software/coding etc goes. Things like introducing some form of volume cap, tweaking the scoring criteria, point caps, multipliers etc

Long Term - anything goes, ideas are very welcome. Re-design the entire thing from scratch and send me a pdf if you really want to get involved.

Currently I'm planning on heading over to Dublin in Feb at some point, depending on how everything is progressing with this round of the competition.

My goal is to develop a competition that gives the best and the brightest a chance to shine and has the potential to create the next great poker ambassador whilst helping to increase the overall liquidity of FTP.

I'm not certain but yes I think they give out play money chips and maybe freeroll tickets to tournies that pay out in play chips etc

I think the promotion itself is great, the games have definitely picked up and the structure is very appealing for recreational players.

so Id like to let you guys know that I made a test and havent played for 2 months with expectation of some bonus offer and after 2 months nothing happened..

is there a reason for the edge rewards being paid weekly? i know the old FT RB scheme paid 27% weekly but surely paying it daily is more optimal and better for the games?

e.g. recreation playing 50nl, busts after 1-2 days but has $5 RB, he either deposits again or waits ~a week to use the RB to play.

If it was deposited daily then he could jump into a game when he busts almost immediately rather than having to deposit his own $?

do you think FT would be open to the idea of paying it daily as opposed to weekly?

if a recreational player gets his $5, he cant seat nl50 again, he has to go lower stakes. no one in this thread wants this. actually, now I'm thinking RB should be paid monthly.

'we've missed you' / 'come back!' reload bonuses are pretty standard, no?

you actually have to stop playing poker for more than 24 hours to get them though, that's probably why you have never seen one

Lol - I've played a few sites over the years can't remember ever getting a reload bonus after leaving except for Bodog who offered me some pretty obscene deals to come back and play.

I suppose in theory there is nothing stopping a feature being added that would allow people to choose daily/weekly or monthly but I can't imagine there is a very high demand for the option.

There is an FTP suggestion/feedback thread in Internet Poker where you should voice these types of opinions and hopefully more people will see it there and if they feel the same way will comment in the thread also.

Im a Black card, and ive played a lot last 3 months cash games and tournaments. Now ive tried to register in a tournament and I have a message that i cant register to any more tournaments, and i have to contact support.

I there any chat with support or only by mail?

I think i can only register to 4 tournaments, and because i was register in the ****ing gold rush freerolls i couldnt register more.

Yeah un-reg from the free rolls for now. Email support and you should get your table limits increased very quickly.

FTP respects that loyalty, I'll spend it wisely.

I know I can't complain when I get the $5 now obviously but used to really annoy me when your raking 100k a year and they ship you $5. I'm a big fan of free **** but those mini-bonus' always felt more like a kick in the face and probably made me a tiny bit less 'loyal' after receiving them. I feel like $50 has to be the min for someone playing 1/2+ otherwise don't even bother.

Seems you get a 400$ bonus if you switch to stars for a few weeks
