Villian is competent reg but no real reads.

Check behind on flop seems standard, maybe best line is to just check it down? Once I bet turn how do we feel about bluffing on river? I figure my hand is likely behind and it will be tough for him to call on river with most of his hands.

BB: $26.65 (106.6 bb)
UTG: $15.29 (61.2 bb)
MP: $25.48 (101.9 bb)
CO: $10.82 (43.3 bb)
Hero (BTN): $24.98 (99.9 bb)
SB: $61.09 (244.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 5 5
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.62, SB raises to $2.20, BB folds, Hero calls $1.58

Flop: ($4.65) K K T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($4.65) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2, SB calls $2

River: ($8.65) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6.75, SB folds

Spoiler:
Results: $8.65 pot ($0.39 rake)
Final Board: K K T Q 3
Hero mucked 5 5 and won $8.26 ($4.06 net)
SB mucked and lost (-$4.20 net)

Check turn, check back now. the only think he can really be folding is like A2-A9ss, maybe some weak Tx, 77-99 if he 3b's those.

Oh and pre is pretty meh.

yeah, just fold pre. Your equity against a reg in this spot is not good, and he's almost never getting stacks in vs your set, since his (probable) range is just too wide.

On turn his continuing range is overpairs to your 5 and FDs. I would probably check behind and evaluate/call a river bet to try to get max value from his bluffs.

If you do want to possibly bluff river, I would bet the turn larger. On rivers his continuing range that beats you is mostly overpairs to your 5s, and you can bet 85% or so as a bluff

As played, I like checking behind. If you must bluff, then bomb the river, like $10.
