Hi everyone - Would love your thoughts on the action on this river. imo, reasonably standard up to the river.

Game is a low cap ($1000) buy in 5/10 in a casino in Rhode island, US. Villain and limper are unknowns. We were just moved to the table 30 mins ago.

Thanks for the feedback.

call river, buy K6s a drink, top off and get ready to play more hands

Fair enough. While it's the best hand in my range (reason to call), I dont beat any bluffs. The river overbet is so rarely a bluff it still feels like a bad call.

you really want to your absolute best hand in this spot to a random player readless? especially after they checked 3x?

i’m always valuebetting whatever 6x / boats we have ott, leaving me with basically 33 here at the top of my range.

and we can’t think about calling worse: I don’t think A6 / KT make a better calls hand because while you block 6x hands you also then run into more 33

Exactly. Very well put - certainly clearer than I could have written.

(Assuming you mistyped and meant "don't beat any value"), some random open limper can certainly raise worse for value. 6x is going to x/r/puke when you somehow show up with a better hand on a board with no flushes or straights with the first bet not taking place until after 8 checks.

I don't think 33 is strong enough to raise to 5bb preflop

I think you're better off going 3bb or limping behind, while I'm not sure what's better between those two.
