IDK how to calculate rake

Hello everyone,
I play at my local casino (Mexico City) a 25/50 MXN game. I'm finding really hard to calculate the rake for this game and can't figure out if it's +EV.
The thing is the rake is $50 (1 BB) on every hand over 5 BBs. Which is A LOT when the pots are small. However the rake doesn't varies if you play a 200BB pot so it can go from 20% pot in the worst case to 0.5% (or less) in the best case scenario. Also, pots under 5 BBs (blind steals, etc.) have no rake.
How do I figure out if this is +EV?

This is a very good rake structure. Just chop the blinds if it folds to you in the small blind or big blind. Explain to your opponent in the other blind that if you chop it keeps more money on the table so it doesn't end up with the casino.
