it is much much harder for anyone to get scammed if everyone's screen names are public. specifically, the scam that happened to wiltontilt and that other guy can't happen if everyone knows who is who. i understand not wanting to divulge that information, but if you want to post a request in the xfer thread you have to post the screen names you will be transferring to and from.

Starting tomorrow i'm going to be deleted all requests that don't have the screen names in them. if you're a frequent user of this thread and disagree strongly with this measure, let me know. if i get enough complaints i might change my mind. fwiw, this is standard procedure in the general xfer thread. to quote the first post of that thread:

wth is peoples problem seriously, can YOU READ THE TITLE? REPUTABLE HSNL COMMUNITY, and yet 2 out of 3 posters in this thread are completely unknown.

I said OK because I recognized your name and you had a ton of posts. You've posted some hands at mid-high stakes and I believed you that they were hands you'd really played. I looked up your party SN and you've played 600 hands of small stakes. Rather than delete your posts, I'm going to say that people should proceed with caution trading with you and that you should post your stars name.

Follow up edit: I talked some with Gullanian by PM and have decided to remove his posts from this thread. I wouldn't recommend trading with him.
