BIG PROBLEM HERE:
I posted here looking to trade Lock for BoA a few days ago, Hamboke4k then responded via PM and said he could do it. I then asked him if he had Skype or AIM he said he had AIM. We chatted for 10-15 minutes and eventually agreed to trade my 8k Lock for his 7300 BoA that he would transfer the next morning (he said yesterday 3/7 by 11:30am central).

I checked his trades here and they seemed reputable (Carpe Dylan a week ago, etc). I sent the Lock funds, they went thru but I have received nothing from him. He has stopped responding to my PMs here. I just now find out that he started a thread yesterday saying 'My account was hacked' and that someone lost almost 7k on his account. I checked tableratings.com and yes his account (Smitty1717) was down about 7k playing 25/50 hu primarily to two players (JoeBanana5 and Scobidoo). He never mentions in his hacked post about my 8k that magically went to his account or anything of that nature.

I'll fill in with any more details that people want, but now I want to get this up and look for opinions. I PM'ed Shane and he immediately responded saying he is looking into this.

I welcome a response from Hamboke4k, too.

Wow, I got scammed the same way but it was for 850. Hate to say it but when you talk about such large amounts, you'll definitely want to deal with only reputable traders or or do in smaller pieces.

When you say you got scammed do you mean the person (in my case Hambone4k) or an outside hacker scammed you

Outsider hacked the trader's account. I sent first because I was just starting off.
