Ime there is no standard for this type of trade. I’ve seen people both ask for and pay vig on both sides of this ranging from 1-4%.

I got scammed semi elaborately by a guy pretending to be spacegravy (Grayson Physioc). He made a fake skype account pretending to be me, started talking with the real spacegravy on skype, asked him who to HV, then made a fake Grayson Physioc skype name hitting me up for the trade (Stars for btc). I asked for HV, and he sent me the name (TCfromUB) who would hard vouch. Sure enough I received a 2p2 PM from TCfromUB hard vouching for Grayson.

Luckily I only sent 5k cuz i asked to do in increments.

I should have known something was up based on his responses being somewhat weird and his skype name being weird and us having no mutual friends. However, I guess I didn't feel compelled to triple check everything cuz the likelihood of him having spacegravy's full name + spacegravy PMing me on 2p2 + getting TC to PM me prevented the alarm bells from going off in my head.

Anyway, don't trade with anyone pretending to be me (OhHeyCindy / turbulenc3). Verify with twitter and twoplustwo.

*My last two trade attempts here have been with a scammer. The first was a guy impersonating YugiohPro (didn't fall for this one cuz i asked him to send $1 from his starts account first) and the second was the one above. Likely the same person.

Really tough break turb. I'm glad you decided to do it in increments. I'm not going to say anything regarding what happened from my end so I don't give something for the scammer to learn from. However, I hope anyone posting trades in this thread knows they WILL become a target for scammers.
