Although I have mixed feelings about this essay, on the whole I think it is pretty good and brings up some good points.

On another note, I just wanted to say that your contributions to the community are invaluable. I can think of a few of your posts specifically that have made a real, noticable impact over the MSNL games.

Over the past couple years, I have learned a great deal from your strategy posts, even though I disagreed with a decent percentage of them. The two of us are similar in the progression in our games over the past couple years, and it seems obvious to me how much better of a player you have become through your posts alone, even though we don't often play in the same games anymore.

I haven't been online in days due to family stuff and holidays, but I just got notified of this post. I haven't even read the thread yet, so all I'll say is this:

1. I am in no way offended by OP's comment or believe it's in bad taste. I read it as "TWP, as he posts on 2p2, is awful at poker" and I actually agree with that comment.

2. Thanks, Jay, for your comments - I, not surprisingly, agree with them as well.

3. I'm impressed that AEMFJ said that I "think outside the box" and that I'm "loved" even if it's grudgingly. Maybe he understands what I try to do on here better than he has let on previously.

I'll read the whole thread and try to add something substantive later. For the moment, though, I definitely applaud the effort OP put into the post. From a quick skim it looks very very good.

Why do people waste time and energy yapping and yelling at each other on the forum. If you didn't like the post, close it and move on. What good do you generate by complaining.

I was referred to this post and found it interesting. There is certainly some info for players to take and learn from on this post. I applaud the time and effort!

is is indeed a very well written and nice post, but trust me i don't accept 1 & 2 as milestones. 3rd was indeed a milestone, as it really helped me in learning, thinking and adapting of my style of poker playing.
