Even if we ignore all the action, the river bet size is a value size. He's got a solid hand, and definitely one that beats 2nd pair.

What... so you're saying nobody ever overbet bluffs.

Well obviously he's not going to have a value hand that doesn't beat 2nd pair.

Sorry I misread the original post...I thought he bet $1k into $1855. It's actually 3 x$1k into 1855. I see the point now, it is a stupid overbet and yeah it makes a bluff more likely.
