I will be out in Vegas this summer during the WSOP and my preferred poker room is Aria. I know the 5/10NL at Aria is a 3K cap and the 10/20NL is uncapped. I am also well aware of the fact that every uncapped game has varying stack depths depending on whose in the game and time (June/July WSOP for example) of year etc etc. my question is during the WSOP what would be the average buyin for the 10/20 uncapped game?

If you're trying to figure out how much $$ to bring, maybe stick to % of your bankroll. Or, what I'm doing later this year is starting an account and depositing bankroll into a bank near where I'm playing. Don't have to carry any money. And can deposit right away.

The casinos should also accept wire transfers. You can take a few buyins with you and wire the rest. Wire fees are usually around $35.

Smart way to help with BRM especially if it’s something you previously or generally struggle with. I’m not so much worried about having a lot of cash on me because I’ll be putting a chunk in my safe as soon as I get to my hotel. I am more just curious if during WSOP summer time the avg buy in for the Aria 10/20NL is 5K or more like 7.5-8K+. As previously mentioned it’s an objective question because every game is different based on whales, game flow, etc but was just looking for a standard ballpark from anyone who has played 10/20NL at Aria

its a very deep game and often has a mandatory straddle, avg stack depth probably over 10k.

Thanks for the feedback I figured it often plays with a mandatory straddle especially during the series.

PSA a hotel room safe is not 100% "safe"

Understood but I don’t want to apply for a line of credit or have to carry traveler checks etc so I guess I’ll take my chances. Fortunately I have never had an issue with anyone pinching from a safe in any casino I have ever been to.

You can also set up a box at Aria, it's essentially a free safety deposit box. you can keep cash and chips, or really anything in there, and only you can open it.
