as played, are you saying raise to get him off a chop? doesn't sound like he's folding an ace by the description. don't think he bet/calls a K like this either. i would call.

Betting the turn when Ace hit is fundamental at 3/6... someone else made the identical mistake in another thread below, with the same result on the river...

I almost always bet this turn. However, I think checking vs players like this is okay. He folds to the 2nd shot most of the time and calls with any pair vs a bet/ck/bet line.

I just call this. I really dont think he is limp/calling then peeling with Ax. If he does then make a note for next time. without any notes on hands where he limp called utg. His line is pretty damn strong on the river. It makes more sense for a 4x hand than for a Kx or even Ax hand. I mean what the hell would he limp/call with then lead river that wasn't at least tying Ax or complete air?

So then it comes down to how often he folds out tying hands vs how often he has a hand that beats you and calls. I think the latter is more than the former without any other info.
