do you mix in some checks with overpairs on this flop texture or you cbet all of them? do you ever bet/3bet turned FDs? depending on these things, this hand can be the top of your range in which case you shouldn't fold, but I just don't see anyone ripping in a stack to win 36bb's with air here. I'm folding.

I probably cbet all of them, but open to feedback on whether I should check some. But even if we have some overpairs in our range, isn't AT probably the better bluffcatcher since we block TT?

I also don't think I have a 3bet range on the turn. We can definitely have weaker Tx, so even if AT isn't the absolute top, it's near the top. Is that good enough?

And to your point, is this a spot where we should probably just overfold against a random, GTO play be damned?

You need something like 46% equity here (111/240) and that just seems like a lot to add up but then again what nut hands does villain have here?

Any information on the players behind that might have influenced the flat from the co or give an indication what his range might be?

Limited sample on the players behind, but none had 3bet since we sat down, so potentially he may have felt that he could flat a bit wider than usual.

Spoiler:
I called him down figuring I'm at or near the top of my range and he tabled the 55 for quads

I find these river overbets to be going for max value the majority of the time. Even regs have a hard time balancing some bluffs in there (it's a high variance line that you don't need to take often).

This guy is pretty loose preflop, so I could see him having 35s-95s, 47s, A5s, 55, 66, 33. Not a ton of value hands, but what bluffs should he really be running like this? If I was him and wanted to bluff, that flop is much better for a CO range than UTG, so why not take a shot then? Checking it back and then taking this really aggressive line makes it feel like he was trying to trap.

I'd pretty much snapcall this combo.

I would say given the betsize and what it implies at most stakes, not to mention the lack of solid bluffing candidates no one has to worry about calling to prevent your opponenet from bluffing with this line.

Tough spot. What are bluff hands? 34 suited, the occassional 64 suited and maybe A4 suited and 87suited once in a blue moon? How often we think hes going to check back a hand like 34 suited on the flop as opposed to betting for value and equity denial seems important
