Even in EP button straddle games I hate limping 100% of our range. raise pre then 4b.

Checking flop is probably best. As played check/call is fine.

Why is that?

I'm not saying it wrong, but it's not helpful if you don't elaborate as to why.

I.e. maybe villain has nut advantage, maybe hero blocks villain straight draws, maybe better for hero to pot control etc. What is you reasoning?

for checking, we have almost no sets or straights (maybe QQ limp/3b?) and we get to keep pot smaller on a super dynamic board where effective stacks are huge. it would seem disastrous to pile $2500 with just an overpair here. if we bet with KK and get raised, all of our options suck. also by checking we allow V to semi-bluff or value bet worse (Qx, AJ, etc).

for betting, i see some hands we can extract value from. but we aren’t going to deny equity to anything that remotely hits this board.

i agree check on flop seems good this deep OOP

Considering the villian is an aggressive player, check shove would be the best option for me in the turn. There is lots of hand you are ahead of him.

There is 1090 in the table and you have less than 2000 left so the SPR (stack to pot ratio) is less than 2 which means i almost never ever fold if i have over pair

Good luck everybody
