I.e. maybe villain has nut advantage, maybe hero blocks villain straight draws, maybe better for hero to pot control etc. What is you reasoning?
for checking, we have almost no sets or straights (maybe QQ limp/3b?) and we get to keep pot smaller on a super dynamic board where effective stacks are huge. it would seem disastrous to pile $2500 with just an overpair here. if we bet with KK and get raised, all of our options suck. also by checking we allow V to semi-bluff or value bet worse (Qx, AJ, etc).
for betting, i see some hands we can extract value from. but we aren’t going to deny equity to anything that remotely hits this board.
i agree check on flop seems good this deep OOP
