Hi guys,

I play regularly on a non standard 5/10 game and want some toughs about starting stack.

It is a 5/10 uncapped with 50 bb minimun buy in where:

-Almost every hand gets 20 straddle and later 40/80

-Player pool is about 30 persons, with only 3 or 4 decent player, the rest are divided in super fishes, super nits and a lot of spew player with "unlimited bankrolls"

-It's very hard to get HU in a pot even when there are large 3 bets or 4bets.

Resumed it is the wild cash game I've even seen. (someone can shove 50 bb pre and get 3 or 4 callers, some guys enter with 1500 BB and spew it in 3 hours, straddles goes up to 320 sometimes, etc.....)

I consider myself a TAG player, at the top of the pool in this game and try to get some toughs about what my starting stack should be and style of play.

Beside crushing the game over ~2500 hours with an insane BB/hour I think that more can be done and exploit the hell out of this super juicy game until I leave

Thanks in advance.

Not really sure what you’re asking. If you’re crushing the game over 2500 hours I say keep doing what you’re doing lol

Civ77, Lets say you are wining 1$ per month and have a possibility to double it. Would you try to double it or just keep wining 1$ just because you are already wining??

I am asking for some thoughts about what you think is best for this type of game.

-enter with min buy in or enter covering the bigger stack ??

-TAG I think it's the optimal play but some let say you are in this game. Do you play gambling a lot with draws or play draws carefully ??

I tried different approaches to this game like enter with min buy in and gamble until build a stack or enter pretty deep and play as tight as I can.

Both ways have worked but as I said, just one some thoughts on how other people will approach this type of game.

Look at what the whale is buying in for and try to match his stack. Play mostly TAG, but throw in a few LAG moves here and there. And if you're winning over 2500hrs, then don't make any huge adjustments to your current strategy.

Btw what currency is this? I am assuming some Asian country? If this is a 5/10/20/40/80 USD game where people are spewing off 15k USD in 3hrs then it should be infested with regs by now.

I mix with some LAG moves mainly because when I hit hard I'll get get max value. The majority of the field is not playing to fold.

The nit players are at the game waiting all night for a premium and still get called super light.

It's a small field of players, almost like a home game but run in a small casino. Yes we play in USD. The only reason why is not full of regs is because the country need VISA permanent and the game is off the spotlight.

I'm definitely not a elite player but in this game I have unreal winrate... I cry when I think that I'm leaving in six months

If the games really good and you feel like you have a big edge and are comfortably bankrolled, just make sure you cover the fish at the table. There’s no reason to not give a fish a chance to give you their whole stack if you can afford some losses.
