Catch up. We're talking about a hypothetical situation in which we didn't have AJ here and we had a different hand.

I'm fairly confident that if you're folding all your AJ and below Ax combos on the turn here in a BTN vs. straddle that you're overfolding. This board isn't as drawy as you think because Villain isn't flatting a 3bet with wheel cards all that often. He doesn't have that much 4x in his range. Both players are more likely than not to be unimproved from preflop, and AJ high with a gutshot and a club blocker is probably one of the better hands to call 2 streets down with.

Agreed. If you want to maybe raise turn 3rd club or bluff the river...however villain doesn't have Ac, OP has it

I'm assuming you're being hypothetical here and saying we have AcQs on this board and can profitably float 2 streets.

This all started when I said I would x/call AJ here but jam AQ/AK. Basically my point was that this is super close between a third barrel for value and a bluff catcher, and if there are even a few more combos of AJ in villains call range, I'd go for value.

It's still incredibly thin...we'd have to know opponent will call that light on 3 barrels.

Barring serious history with villain, shoving the river is simply atrocious with a big A.

History and reads obviously matter, but if we're not jamming AK/AQ on river, what do we have in our value range?

There are a lot of draws that we're betting flop and turn with on this board, and when we miss the river, I'd like to be able to bluff with those, but in order to do that, we need to have AK/AQ in our value range, I'd think.
