Declare the two axis:
The higher seeded team (or "Favorites" by seed, not spread) are on the x-axis, which is the number line on the top.
The lower seeded team (or "Underdogs") are on the y-axis, which is the number line on the left side.

Seed the list. I've seeded the list of 100 bets using an undisclosed method and sent it to an undisclosed 2+2'er.

Generate the Squares Number List that determines who gets which square based on the seed list.

a. Go to the sequence generator at random.org
b. Enter in smallest value: 1
c. Enter in largest value: 100
d. Press the "Get Sequence" button
e. Copy and paste the generated list of 100 numbers in this thread

Volunteer must meet these criteria:

i. is not me or one of the pool escrows
ii. has a 2017 or earlier reg date
iii. has at least 100 posts

Notes:

• Payouts are based on a game's final score, not end of regulation.
  
• When two teams match up in the tournament with the same seed, we'll use the NCAA Selection Committee's pre-tournament ranking of all 68 teams to determine which team is on the favorite line and which is the underdog. (list will be posted on Selection Sunday)
  

RULES ADDENDUM FOR FORFEITS OR CANCELLATIONS

1. If a single game is cancelled or forfeited, that game's payout will be awarded on the next game upstream in that branch of the bracket. Payout will be based on the halftime score instead of final score.
2. If the tournament gets cancelled mid-round, all remaining payouts will be evenly distributed to game winners in that current round of the tournament.
3. If the tournament gets cancelled in between rounds, all remaining payouts will be evenly distributed to game winners in the previous round of the tournament.
4. If the tournament gets cancelled before starting, all entries will be refunded.

I guess having a 1 in all my squares makes it easy to check. One win in the books already.

GaTech scored one too many.

As was mentioned in another thread, being in this makes me hope for the weirdest outcomes.

"OK, if Purdue just goes scoreless in OT, and N Tx scores four... (or whatever it was)"

looks like Oregon - VCU will be ruled an 'uncontested game' with Oregon moving to the next round.

Didn't even get out of the first round without a forfeit.

So, upstream means that the halftime score of Kansas/Eastern Wash is what we're looking at for the Oregon/VCU money? Or is it halftime of the next Oregon game?

seems pretty clear 'the next game upstream in that branch of the bracket' starts with Oregon's first round branch and will be the halftime score of Oregon's second round game.
