Hello fellow degenerates - This is the containment thread for Super Bowl Squares for MSNL, 2019.

This year's pool info:

Buyin: $250 per square

Payouts

1st Quarter: $2,500
1st Half: $5,000
3rd Quarter: $2,500
Final (End of OT if game goes to OT): $15,000

How you can enter:

1. Be a Sports Thread regular. All squares bought in this thread will be settled in the numbers thread as we normally do, and added to the numbers with the week ending with the Super Bowl.

2. Be Vouched for by a Sports Thread regular. These squares do not need to be paid for up front, but if payment is not received, then the regular that vouched for the buyer will be on the hook for the squares bought.

3. Escrow to one of our trusted escrows. Even if you are not a part of the MSNL Sports thread, you are still allowed to participate. Payment will have to be received up front and must be received by 2PM Eastern on Saturday Feb 2, or your square is not held.

Payments accepted: Paypal, Google Wallet, Chase QuickPay, Venmo.

If you have to ask if you have to escrow, you probably do. Please PM me or Zimmer, Stevesax for further escrow information. Add your name to the interest list, but payment must be received by the deadline to reserve your squares.

There's no limit on number of squares you can buy, but be reasonable. It's not as much fun if one person has like half the board.

anyone else's IRL friends total non-degens? I'm having people over for Superbowl and going to have $2 squares pool. It makes me laugh that the TOTAL prize pool for that is less than 1 buy-in here.

my old man is the only other one that gambles of my close friends/family

they run a $5 square pool at work and i have to explain to them that that just isn't enough to get me interested in something, never mind the fact that i already have $1,000 worth of squares amongst other pools
