can some1 explain this format to me on ACR right now?

they're playing $200/400 NL and the max buy in is $4,000. seems pretty bizarre? some guys have 80K at the table while others have 4-8K.

? I'm assuming people just don't trust ACR and don't wanna buy in for 100bb or something? why not just make the max buy in 100bb like normal?

??????

you can't buy in for more than 10bb in those games

yes but what is the point... why would anyone want to buy in for 10bb when they'll be forced to play for stacks in any pot they come into... also it seems that someone who has built it up to 50bb or even 100bb would have an advantage? they can presumably put a lot of pressure on the other stacks and also steal a lot of blinds.

just seems odd that ACR would put a massive $200/400 game up there but the max buy in is 10bb... would any serious pro play in a game like that?

It's just a game where everyone can run simple and more importantly short sims in real time and crush anyone without the means or knowledge to do said process. Cheating basically. Nothing to see here.

except it's not cheating at all and that sim would only work for the first hand you doubled up on because you can't take any less money to the table for a week after doing it

and if you don't have the means or knowledge to figure out 10bbs I'm not sure what to say about that guy sitting at 200/400

Have you ever heard about effective stack?

10bb cash is just so easy to bot a random kid who hasn't ever played poker could program it

It doesn't matter if you have 1000000bb, if the weak players have 10bb you can play 10bb strat against them and you would be unbeatable with the right assistance
