Villian is Young middle Eastern guy. I don't have a great read on him yet except he "bluffed"with me with the best hand on something like 2-2-4-4-7 with ace high after he floated my cbet oop on the flop and I gave up on the turn so not great imo.

Otth, (1100 effective)6 handed, old man with 300ish straddles for 10, villian opens 35 OTB, SB (reg) flats, hero looks down at black KK in the BB and makes it 140, folds back to villian who quickly calls, SB fold.

Flop: (305). Jd4d2s

Hero leads for 110, villian raise to 240, hero?

Ok I realize this hand isn't super interesting.

Just wondering if anyone likes a call flop check jam turn line, or just ship flop which is what i did and he folded "a good hand"

From the situation and his sizing on the raise, it feels like he is trying to protect top pair (probably AJ, maybe KJs), so I would flat and let him barrel turn, and then jam. Shipping flop, especially live, especially straddle pot, is going to end up being fine. I just think you get more from flatting and check jamming safe turns.

Also, given the 22447 hand, he may be the type to just kind of bet without knowing what he's doing. More reason to flat here.

I guess I could get behind flatting red KK here. But I think he’s more draw heavy and wider from the BTN, weighted a lot to FDs. I’m not sure we are going to get two streets here.

So I’m shipping it rather than let this guy draw out on me. Maybe boring but it’s a nice pot.

I just ship it here. I think there are scare cards that can kill our action. Villian seems bad I don't want him possibly folding future streets.
