I am dealt 88, villain limps for 5, i call, Late MP raises to 20, button calls, Villain calls, I call.

Villian best 25, I raise to 75, everyone else folds, villain goes all in for $250 more.

Villian is a tight player. I have only seen him get out of hand with top pair middle kicker once. Other than that he always has a strong hand when he plays. I had a feeling i was beat but thought of the odds and possibly him having KQ. I wanted to fold but couldnt find it in me.

I call.

Can you fold here? Is this just icm? Is this profitable in the long run given the player and pot size?

Always a call. It is just a cooler moment. (kk,qq combos=6) (kq combos=16). Plus the fact he didn't raise pre or 3b. It is just a cooler. More profitable in long run always calling, and never folding. Unless, u have a dead read on him, where u know 100%, as know his cards or can mind read. Also, if you are maybe deep stacked, at least 400bb effective. Maybe u can find a fold if he overshoves all in. But still tough to lay down, how to action went pre. Myself, I am always calling, and going broke to cooler.

As played, this is always a call. If V had 3b pre, there could be some discussion around folding. I don't think I am ever folding here.

Raise pre-flop yourself.

Raise turn bigger. After your raise size, the pot is 180 and it is 50 to villain to call. If he calls, the pot will be 230 and there will be 250 left in stacks so you will have to slightly overbet the pot on the river to get all-in.

As played, super easy call. You're ahead (and by a lot) like 95% of the time.
