I agree with rep's politics for the most part but also think his posting in general is absolutely horrible as far as high volume posters go. That said, I don't think the containment is justified.

I agree with the first two things you said, but his containment is justified in OOT. Especially considering that all he has to do to be free is post well in here for a few days. Since you admit his posting is indeed absolutely horrible, unless he intends to change that he should stay contained.

Ahhhhh was grunching and didn't pick up on this. Seems fine. I've revisited my models and I'm still getting varying results but a lot has to do with the variable that weights cross-forum pollination. Current model puts a lot of priority on posters that manage to have a well-rounded forum presence

Rep is the dude who doesn't understand that there is a time and a place for political talk and ends up getting into an angry discussion with your aunt at the family barbecue. Fwiw I think he's mostly right in his positions (at least in the line or two i read before i start skimming) but that doesn't mean he's not a net negative in any part of the forum not designated for politics. Also if he's ever in need of a new undertitle please let it be Lapka's "Attacks for serious".

Edit:Though I'm not sure whether this is enough to justify containment.
