Because of this thread, there is a Mod who is threatening to close the ESA Scam Thread. His minions will push him and this particular Mod acts as their collective voice.
There is no question that a bunch of posters want to keep it active.
Which brings me to:
Why the **** do people ask for a thread to be closed? Who ****ing cares. Threads will die on their own without a heavy-handed Mod getting involved.
There is a Mod who requested I limit my ESA postings to 1 per day. I said of course, thank you. I think I posted 12 times in the next 30 days. It was sage advice.
You should change your avatar. I wouldn't post with a weasel avatar and neither should you. You say that there is a mod who doesn't like you who has "minions" threatening to contain you and close threads you care about. This is a clear sign you shouldn't post there. There are a great many amazing things to do in this world. just out of curiosity why is it you care about emotional support animals so much? I didn't read the thread, just give me your best summary.

This thread isn't about me. It is about a Mod who governs his community with despotic immunity. Judge, jury and executioner.
I came here asking for simple clarification on the rules governing Mods. Which play an important and valuable role here in the community. Using abusive language towards community members is rather inelegant. It has an even more pernicious effect though whereby his many minions think that is appropriate behavior.
This Mod has also tolerated abuse by me in other threads whereby someone will invariably mention ESAs. It is frustrating to have other threads be derailed with tangent discussions about the European Space Agency. Save that for the UFO Scam Thread please.

I don't want anything done. I am not talking about a particular Mod, although it may seem that way. It is about any Mod. And their representation of 2+2.
The containment exercise, while noble, is ultimately futile. It is a microcosm of our prison justice system. It actually prevents any rehabilitation effort or integration back into society.
But is far worse in OOT, because anyone there can be a prison guard. And that attracts sociopaths. Who take pleasure in inflicting pain. It is the Internet version of the Stanford Prison Experiment.
Positive reinforcement works far better than harassing someone to become something you want them to be.
I've asked you this before, but what is your end game? You've already been exiled from Politics and you are on the thinnest of ice in OOT.

Personally I'm glad people are still trying to help her, even though she does seem like a lost cause. Well actually I'm torn here I partly think she is being enabled in a way to not get therapy while she has this forum as an outlet but then again I'd hate to think of someone in a bad spot not having people to help them out, so idk.
