I think theres alot of potential when it comes to connecting poker players and offering services that make their lifes easier.

For example I think It would be amazing if there was an agency/company that would help poker players with things such as moving to another country, setting up a grind house and all the difficulties that are connected with it, including taxes.

If this site offers solutions to common difficulties that alot of poker players are facing it will automatically draw more visitors.

Another big goal should be to improve the overall reputation of poker and professional poker players.

as i've mentioned in your other thread already i'd like to see a facelift of the forum software, both for PC and mobile.

1. The userbase and the varied (non)poker forums. The familiarity of the presentation. Not much has changed since I reg'd and I'm something of a creature of habit.
2. That you have to host images elsewhere before posting.

Good luck and my main suggestion/request would be to not throw the baby out with the bathwater by making existing users turned off with any drastic, new changes.

that is possibly the worst idea i can think of. it would be heaven for trolls and chaos for everyone else. what is the upside?

Longer than 30 mins would be nice. Maybe 24 hours.

Maybe allow posters to attach their verified identity?

1. General IQ of userbase

2. Somewhat narrow list of topics to discuss. This is a tricky one because if you make the website overly broad, it will dilute things for the worse. But as a retired poker player, I like talking to poker players, but about varying subjects outside of poker.

3. Either a cryptocurrency subgroup or an entire section devoted to cryptocurrency.

4. Too many people and too broad of marketing will dilute the place down to nothing and turn it into a Reddit style low IQ shitshow. But of course attracting good people is good for the growth of the forum and sustainability of it's ecosystem.

It's hard to say where I'd try to pull from. Online poker site partnerships maybe?

5. I'd just personally recommend it to people that it suits well over the years, as I have done.

I would reopen the book section after a retitle. I would call it Publications, Podcasts, and Vlogs.

What it would be about is self-explanatory.

I would also make Las Vegas Trip Reports a subsection of LVL.

You mentioned in your NVG thread about unbanning all previously banned posters. Just want to say a hacker or hackers have been taking control of dormant 2+2 accounts for years and using them in scams to defraud honest users. Its only through the vigilance of the moderators re banning them before they can do any damage that keeps the community relatively safe.

If im honest it seems like you will gut what this forum is and turn it into a discord chat room. If you are planning to keep the message boards as they are i would suggest instead of unbanning everyone some sort of verification system for dormant account that haven't been accessed for months/years.

Over the years i have seen dormant accounts that haven't been logged into for 10 years used to scam people that shouldn't be allowed to happen. Telegram will auto delete a account with 6/12 months of inactivity something similar would be helpful here as well.

Hi. Marketing guy here. Rebranding as 2+2.com when the website is twoplustwo.com could be a bit confusing. Do you own both domains and plan to use a redirect? And that logo looks like something someone with absolutely no design experience slapped together.

I’m also seriously confused by the messaging and timing of the announcement, as it doesn’t seem there has been much interaction between new management and the userbase at the early stages.

Why make a big deal about working 12-hour days 7-days a week when there have been 2 posts to this point, none of which have been interacting directly with the community.

None of this seems particularly well planned out.

Sincerely wish you guys luck…I’m sure there’s some sort of uber genius at work here I’m just not getting.

Do you plan to introduce international forums? We had Russian, French, and German iirc, but they where closed a while ago.

The solution is deceptively simple (to the point where most ppl will not accept it as such):

Simply secure the services of the meta-leading pop rock orchestral songwriter, & implement his PR strats how you see fit, within the framework of what you, yourselves, would enjoy seeing. This can include music video advertisements, live shows, banners, or anything at all.

That is what will attract the most traffic from the most ppl in the most demographics that have never heard of this entity before.

How about a sub-forum dedicated to helping posters improve their lives? I actually have some questions in mind that feel too stupid for any of the current forums.

I don't know how well it would do, but that's the most interesting new forum idea I've heard in a long time. Some kind of "life coaching" forum - although I'm sure there are better names.

Whatever happens - Bobo must have a role in the new site.

Fairly new user, first post. I know nothing about websites or software but on other forums, I like when I click on a thread title, it automatically takes me to where I left off in the thread. I have found scrolling through the posts trying to find where i left off is daunting. At the very least, a “jump to new posts” button in every thread would be helpful.
