It already exists. Any threads with unread posts are bolded, and there should be an arrow to the immediate left of the thread title - click that.

This could be awesome, but man...moderating it would be a challenge probably to keep it from devolving into something destructive.

I get a kick out of some of my words being used in one of your cartoons.

I would require all moderation decisions to include a morph meme that explains the action taken.

IMO the strategy content is not what it used to be. Not sure how to get it back, but if you could get legit strategy discussions at a high level (at least for mid-high stakes), that would make engaging with these forums more useful and enjoyable for serious players

Andrii, when I started posting here I was in high school and most of my friends who posted on here were around that age too. At the time there was already this clique of 30 year olds who had already solved the basics of life and reached their potential and instead of empathizing with the younger posters brought here by the boom they were mocked by this clique of blowhard programmers. These were the type of people who work for my dad at his tech company; they grew up in random places and were smart and overcame their high school difficulties and then got tech jobs during the early tech boom when I was 12 and left their dumb class mates in the dust and they think they have so much wisdom to offer and that if it got right down to it, they were smart enough to where they could just think thoughts and were automatically above the fray( I donÂ’t have to put up with bullshit , I have a computer science degree)

And now you have a situation where all those guys are self entitled and 45-50 and they dominate the tone and tenor of the discussion. IÂ’m in my 30Â’s and most of the people here who were/are in their twenties/ thirties left because itÂ’s not fun being forced to have a discussion in the way 50 year old man children imagine that discussion should be.

Set up the new site so younger and more diverse group of people can dominate the discussion instead of 50 year old dweebs.

This is not FB either, but I agree that there should be some way to "react" to someone else's post differently than posting a reply. An "Agree-Disagree, Thumps up -Thumps, down" "+1,-1, whatever"

Reddit, FB, Youtube, Twitter, etc... they'll have a way to react to other users' comments/contributions.

I have found myself many times deleting a reply because is not worth the engagement, but would still like to express my empathy or lack of it.

As I mentioned in the "purchased by us" thread, I, as a person who has created a lot of popular threads think it would be great if a thread creator could mod his own thread and thus be able to delete posts solely designed to annoy or create havoc. There are a few bad apples out there who love to do this probably because they don't have the intelligence to create good threads themselves.

And as I mentioned in the other thread, "poker celebrities" would be more inclined to create threads themselves if they knew they could delete the trolls and anonymous character assassins. And if some people don't like this they can stay the hell out of the thread.

If we’re separating character assassins from trolls into two separate groups then character assasins was, and still is, a far greater problem. I knew dozens of attractive intelligent young posters on this site who left because of relentless negative characterizations of everything they did by a group of people with low self esteem. My character was assasinated too, Totally normal things were mischaracterized in psychopathic ways, people said I did things I never did etc. Normal people aren’t going to put up with that kind of thing for long which is why normal people without a direct stake all left.

I also don’t think twoplustwos future is 30 something millennials like me, I think if two plus two is to have a future it is with people who are 10 years younger than me. Don’t nit pick everything they say or imply they’re being “ aggressively stupid” when they say something you don’t agree with, allow two sided communication instead of being able to dish insults but not taking them.

It was really really weird to have a group of like 20 long time posters gang up on someone to insult them when they’ are just a random person , like I remember being in college , explaining something and then 15 different people made weird inside jokes about me and then there was a 50 post thread about whether I was stupid or trolling but the reality is I didn’t have any incentive to be right, I wasn’t trolling, I just didn’t think about it very hard because I was not a mod or stake holder in two plus two I didn’t care in the slightest what some random person thought of me on a forum and I just thought you were all really weird.
