Just look at this thread and you know why 2p2 is dead.

I started reading in 2005 or so and it was heaven for people trying to learn poker. All the forums were filled with valuable and interesting information. You would learn something new in every 2nd thread.

Take a look at the strategy forums now. A lot of the forums do not have an online hand (lol live donks) on the first 2 pages. Or just take a look at the posters in this thread. 30.000 posts and still losing micro stakes donks (or "live players") who did not make a meaningful contribution which any winning poker player cared about in the last 3 years.

At some point 2p2 must have realized that having a forum with a lot of knowledgable posters and a lot of great information is really bad for them.

Which winning reg would buy an outdated book from a random micro stakes loser? Who would fall for all these coaching scams they are advertising? You need people who do not have a clue about poker to sell these crap products. And this forum produced exactly the opposite.

So they tried to get rid of all the good information and the good players and instead tried to appeal to spammers which would produce 30.000 zero content posts while donking off their money in the local 1/2 live game so they can call themselves poker players.

The mods now need to protect all these donks which produce all these posts for free and which buy their **** products from the few remaining solid players, so they wont be confronted with any real poker content. Therefore the good players get frustrated and keep leaving while the spammers take over the forum.

Ok, now you can post some funny pictures and go read professional no-limit hold'em again while I crush the games.

So, how about the Yankees? Think they're on a permanent decline here?
