Sup Hezbollah is great and entertaining imo. Mods threatening to ban him and users hoping for a ban are pretty good illustrations of some of the things I was trying to say with this thread.

I guess the comments itt just show that different people want different things from this forum, which is completely fair. The forum just hasnt been moving in the direction I wanted.

btw I should have specified that by bad modding of bbv I meant splitting it in two and then banning all the funny bbv4l posters. I havent read it much lately, so I dont know much about the current mods.

You realize that your opinion that a troll brings value to the forum is just an opinion, and that my opinion that a troll actually devaules the forum is equally as valid, right?

You have low standards for entertainment. I don't think calling someone bitches is entertaining.

People are too sensitive and should try to understand I am in no way trying to be a jerk to anyone, I just like to spice things up and try to provide entertainment.

I still dont even know what a troll is. I used to think it was someone who just acts like a jerk the entire time but apparently I was wrong.

As someone who has been accused of being a troll, I have to say I don't know either.

Calling people bitches is not providing entertainment.

People who are good at trolling can be awesome. The problem is, 95%+ are bad at it, and worse still, no matter how bad they are, they're still getting a ton of responses.

So just don't feed trolls that do not deserve it. The worthy ones get fed anyway since noone can tell if they're serious or trolling - they walk that line like Nik Wallenda.

Why would you take that so literally?

Sure fire way to make sure the bad trolls go hungry is to swing a mighty banhammer.

Some people come to this site wanting to be entertained. Others want to be informed. Why not let people seek out what it is they are looking for, while all the time offering more to people.

Why would you ban someone who clearly wants to be a part of the community?

Yes I fully understand obviously there are troublesome, problematic posters who bring the banhammer onto themselves. But people go too far with this.

If you dont like someones threads, dont go in them. If you dont like a poster, ignore them. Problem fixed.

If the situation is bad and there are multiple people involved a more firm hand be called upon (ban, permaban, IP ban) whatever

This is just my opinion, I hate when people say this. There is no reason to say it and its uneccessarily combative and mean. Its a passive way of saying I dont value your opinion and wont miss you when youre gone. The irony of this old saying is people have closed doors on themselves by saying it.

You know I don't want you banned (as I said, I think you're funny), but you did start a fairly raucous thread in OOT, so you sort of know what you are going to get.

Perhaps the people calling for a ban, etc., are just joking around as well (much like you like to do.) I wouldn't want the responses you are getting either, lol, but I wouldn't start that OP, it's a hard knock life in there...
